Speaker:

Joe Guzman, a retired Army Colonel with 22 years of space operations experience, wants to make a dent in the space debris population. Raised in Northwest Houston during the Space Shuttle era, he always had space on his mind and eventually found himself supporting the Shuttle and International Space Station as an Army Space Operations Officer. It was then that he learned about the resources required for conjunction assessment and collision avoidance. Flash forward twenty years and there are no signs that this problem is going away. Guzman decided to take a swing at a solution.
