Rice Space Institute Seed Funding Initiative: Igniting Bold Ideas for Space Exploration

The Rice Space Institute proudly supports groundbreaking research that pushes the frontiers of space exploration. Our Seed Funding Initiative invites Rice faculty, along with collaborators beyond our campus, to submit proposals that can advance the mission of the Institute. Proposals are evaluated based on feasibility, potential for attracting external funding, and alignment with our goals for innovation in space research. This year, we awarded $25,000 to each of five exceptional projects with transformative potential.
