The future of the Houston Spaceport is bright, having recently completed a Phase 1 infrastructure project and announcing three anchor tenant agreements. Owned and operated by the City of Houston Department of Aviation (Houston Airport System or HAS), Houston Spaceport is colocated with Ellington Airport, a joint-use civil/military airport located in the southeast area of Houston. Come hear how the Spaceport went from a simple concept to actively supporting planetary, LEO and Lunar activities while at the same time becoming an economic driver that supports the Houston community, the aerospace industry and our nation’s objectives.
