We hope your summers are going well and looking forward to a fun August. We wanted to give you a heads up on our Spaceport Frontiers Lecture Series for the Fall 2017 .  We have an exciting line up of speakers.  All talks will be in the evening: watch this space for details.

September 12:  President’s Lecture: “Failure is not an option: Embodying the Credo, ‘We Do This Not Because It Is Easy but Because It Is Hard’” Apollo 13 Astronaut, Fred Haise followed by conversation with Fred Haise and Dr. Ellen Ochoa (Director, Johnson Space Center)

October 3: Spaceport Lecture: “The Future of Commercial Space Transportation” George Nield (Assoc. Administrator, Commercial Space Transportation, FAA)

October 26: Spaceport Lecture: “Title – TBD” Dr. Thomas Zurbuchen, (Assoc. Administrator, Science Mission Directorate, NASA)

November 16: Spaceport Lecture: “40 years of the Voyager spacecraft“, Dr. Paul Schenk, Lunar and Planetary Institute

We will highlight some of the other interesting events we have coming up in the next few days.
