50 years ago this month at Rice University, President John F. Kennedy challenged his fellow Americans to send a man to the Moon before the close of the decade. Since then, the students and faculty of Rice have kept the memory of President Kennedy’s challenge alive by continuing to make contributions to space science and related fields of study.
